To provide professional recruiting services to the
legal community, focusing on the integrity, ethics, and diligence of both our
own business practices and those of our candidates.
History
Carol Palmer founded Palmer Legal Staffing in 1997
after 16 years as a law firm administrator at three firms whose managing partners
consistently praised her hiring of highly qualified support staff. Today, she
is both the president of Palmer Legal Staffing and head of the direct-hire placement
division.
Carol’s respect for the legal and business professionals who make hiring
decisions complements her understanding of just how important these decisions
are and the core capabilities needed to staff law firms and other businesses.
With “hands-on” knowledge of the time constraints, business practices,
client relations, and work ethics of modern law firms and other business offices,
Carol sorts through myriad qualified candidates to best match the needs of a
particular office.
Growth and Awards
At its outset, Palmer Legal Staffing consisted solely of its founder and made
only direct-hire placements. The company now employs a team of professionals to fill temporary and temp-to-hire positions in addition to
direct hires. The number of Palmer-placed temporaries
working in clients’ offices has risen from an average of 20 a day to more
than 150.
This substantial growth has been lauded by The Washington
